Interestingly, most locum GPs report that they can earn considerably more in Australia as a locum than working for the NHS in the UK. Working full-time you should earn a minimum of £80,000 for 6 months.
That said, you are unlikely to earn more money as a locum than working on a permanent contract, so if you are coming to Australia and are looking for the highest paying jobs, you may like to consider a permanent role. Employers value and reward those making long-term commitments.
